These heavily redacted CIA documents were posted by the ACLU. The director of the CIA recently admitted that they have used water-boarding on detainees, and these documents are testament to that. It is creepy and disturbing to think what information is hidden beneath the black. In any case, the graphic effect of the black is powerful and could be a nice device to use in some sort of political poster. I know we probably will!

It was a beautiful day in Madison Square Park, so I decided to take a stroll and photograph what I saw. Check out the modernist painted sculptures and flowers; they definitely enhance the experience of taking that midday break to hang out or eat.

Crumpler, the maker of fine bags and bag-like objects, has intrigued us with their tiny matchbox. As a charitable gesture they have manufactured thousands of these tiny flea houses for homeless fleas across the city. Bravo.

This blog is about things you should look at and get excited about. But this post is about something you shouldn’t look at! Especially if you are a child!

This weekend I read a surprising article (well, surprising to me). According to the American Academy of Pediatrics children under 2 should not watch any TV at all. Children over the age of 2 should watch only 1-2 hours a day. Watching TV has been proven to slow cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.  Later on that day, I was flipping through a friends copy of adbusters and found haunting images of zombie children watching TV.
